  15. Road petitions - 2022.029.001

    Two petitions from inhabitants of Lebnaon Township for roads filed with the Court of Quarter Sessions in Lancatsre County.  The first petition filed in August sessions 1764 requests a road from Elizabeth Furnace to the township, contains 71 signatures and is inscribed 'rejected.'  The second petition filed February sessions 1769 requests a road from Harris' Ferry through Lebanon to Williamsburg and contains approximately 25 signatures.

  17. North Annville Township Civil War Draft Pass Book 1864 - 1866 - 2022.039.001

    Passbook possibly owned by the Kenports or Henry Light. They may have been on the school board in North Annville and taxed those eligible for the Civil War draft. They recieved "bounties" North Annville residents who were willing to pay to avoid the draft. Names listed on page 1 include Peter Forney, CA Potter Timets, H. H. Kreider, D. O. Shenk, O. H.
